I hope everyone had a great week. We sure did!! We are busy getting to know each other and becoming experts in our new routine. We also have jumped right in to our awesome curriculum. Take a look at a few highlights of the learning going on in the first few weeks as fourth graders:
- Fourth grade math took their first test today for unit 1. They learned a lot about geometry.
- We are enjoying our first reading unit that all revolves around the big question: How important are traditions?
- Our first writing unit is off to a good start also. Students will be writing realistic fiction stories!
- We've had fun practicing our cursive letters and spelling words during word work time.
- We wrapped up our first round of MAP testing this week as well. whoohoo!
I continue to be amazed getting to know these kiddos! They are just awesome. I can't say it enough!!
